I’ve talked about my favorite scents before and while I still love those staples, I have been in the mood to try something new. I spent over an hour in Sephora the other day just smelling all the various perfumes in stock. This time sifting through the perfumes left me only with a headache. I overheard a fellow customer ask the Sephora rep to try a sample of one of the fragrances. He said yes and directed her to bring over the tester bottle and just like that she had a mini spritzer of the new Tocca scent. I had no idea you could do that! I know in the past department stores used to have readily available samples of some perfumes but not so much more. So naturally I quickly followed suit. I chose Burberry Body Tender which is a soft, romantic scent. I normally just spray the testers on the small paper strips, smell them, and quickly toss ’em. While this method is efficient in trying multiple scents, it does not truly replicate how the perfume will develop on your body. This makes getting these handy free samples so important before you nosedive (no pun intended) into a new scent. I’m happy to report that after trying this perfume out it is going to be my new go-to.
