[vc_row full_width=”” parallax=”” parallax_image=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I have given up shopping for Lent. This has been quite a challenge for me because like most females, I LOVE shopping. It’s been about 2 weeks and I’ve got the shakes. I’ve even been torturing myself by going to stores just to get a look, a hit for that feeling of seeing new clothes. It’s made me realize that my shopping habit was a little out of control and many times I would impulsively buy poor quality items just because they were on sale or to serve as retail therapy. Now that I’ve taken a break from my fix, I’ve decided that I will focus on quality and not quantity. I’ve vowed to only purchase items that will have longevity and a special place in my closet. I’ve got 29 more days to go (not that I’m counting) and I’m going to enjoy the wardrobe I do have and the extra money in my bank account so I don’t have to think twice about paying extra for guacamole.
Have you ever gone on a shopping sabbatical before? Any advice on how to make it through?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
