I am quite a creature of habit when it comes to foods that I enjoy. One of my favorite items is a bagel with lox, cream cheese, capers, and onions from a local bakery. I was craving it the other night and decided to recreate it for dinner in pizza form. I added dill and substituted cream cheese with sour cream due to its more spreadable consistency. I munched on this tasty dish for subsequent meals including breakfast and even for a snack.
Pillsbury Pizza Dough (divided in 2)
1/2 red onion
1 package of smoked salmon
extra virgin olive oil
1. Spread extra virgin olive oil all over dough. Cook dough according to package directions.
2. Allow bread to cool completely. Coat with a layer of sour cream leaving edges bare.
4. Carefully place salmon over sour cream. Chop onion in thin strips. Distribute over salmon. Add capers. Sprinkle with dill.
