One of the things I’ve learned from wedding planning is a reminder of setting out to be the best version of myself. While this started out as a physical journey, it has developed into a mental transformation. I used to consistently go to the gym and filled my schedule with Zumba and body pump classes. But as the story goes, I slowly went less and less each week and ultimately stopped exercising completely. This had a profound effect on my body and spirit. With our wedding quickly approaching (less than 2 months!),I needed to make some serious changes before our nuptials. I signed up for Orange Theory last month which has been both challenging and rewarding. I went from not working out and taking forever to get out of bed in the morning to going to 6:00 am classes! I feel so much more confident, happier, less stressed, motivated (oh hey, blog) and excited for our big day. Even though I set out to be in shape for the wedding, the impact has motivated me to maintain this lifestyle long after as I don’t want to be my best self for just one day but always 🙂 I can’t recommend Orange Theory enough to anyone starting out in their fitness journey or returning to it!
